What is the Eco Garden?
Kariong Eco Garden is a place where people can learn about caring for the Earth by providing habitat for wildlife, harvesting rainwater, using renewable energy, recycling organic matter, and growing food, naturally.
Drop by the Eco Garden, visitors and new volunteers are always welcome. We open 10am – 12noon on Mondays and Fridays, find us in the garden or upstairs in the Arts Barn Office. Become a member for only $5/year.
Our programs include Kariong Boomerang Bags and Bush Care, as well as popular regular events such as our Four Seasons Nature Nights held 4 times each year, along with our annual Trivia Night.
Further, Raw & Unearthed run a nature play program at the Eco Garden, visit the Raw & Unearthed website for full details and to book. Troubadours also host monthly Folk music sessions every 3rd Sunday of the month, with entry by donation.
We are also a registered Charity and with Centrelink as an approved Volunteer Work Provider
